I am setting up a new instance of Talent and entered the SMTP email setting into the system as suggested in the Microsoft site:
I get an error message though when I use the send test mail function.
Transaction failed. The server response was: 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Cannot submit message.
Please let me know if anyone has encountered this issue and managed to resolve it.

Actually this issue is belong to Talent Forum. While my AX colleague just met similar issue([AX]: In SysAdmin email parameters form, send test email button is throwing error.) before, he suggest that the issue is due to the configuration between the customer's environment and server.
You could refer to the section describing how to configure "Send As" and "Send On Behalf Of" permissions.
