E-voicing attachment

Hi,

Within D365 F&O, there is a functionality to add the attachments to the invoice journal itself (automatically).

However, when i create a sales order invoice and I click on the invoice journal, there is no actual file of it. There is just a note, in another environment it was a file. I checked the parameters but it still a ''Note''.

Do you know how the invoice can be attached to the customer invoice journal as a file and not as a note?

In addition, in the standard test environment, I can only choose attachment of type note as well.

Hi Hana,

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, this doesn't work.. the attachment is still a ''Note''. But it should be a document.

Hi,
When you enable "eInvoice attachment" on the customer card and activate "Print invoice" on the invoicing form, a PDF version (from SSRS layout) of the sales invoice will be generated and attached to the invoice journal, embedded in the e-Invoice file.

To include attachments in the e-invoice file, you need to add them in the following formats. It would be helpful if you could attach your note as a file to the invoice journal and then send the invoice electronically.
If you prefer adding attachments as notes, you can include this option as a development in the ER configuration for e-invoice.
