I know that each Customer Address ID can have a unique email address attached. My question is if we want to send 3 emails to PRIMARY can I enter them as emailone@one.com ; emailtwo@one.com ; emailthree@one.com.
Will this work or do I have create each under the TO / CC / BC fields - one for each line and only 3 per address ID?
We do this and it works fine.
Yes, as Mike indicated, you can put several email addresses on the same line, separated by a semi-colon. (It should look the same as it does on an email in Outlook.)
emailone@one.com; emailtwo@one.com; emailthree@one.com
Bill,
GP stores the emails as a text field, so you can put quite a lot of emails in there before there will be an issue. Same is true for CC and BCC.
About the only limitation we've found with email in GP is if you are using Exchange (instead of MAPI) and try to email someone with an apostrophe in the email address. Like victoria.o'malley@company.com.
