I have been 'helped' by numerous technicians and have spent hours with them and yet it is hard to make contact.

Which way do you get support from MS in usual?Actually we raise the free service ticket from Office365 Admin Center or D365 Supporting Module left our phone or mail info. Their initial support time depends on the request severity. You could set high severity request if you confront with any tough issue.
