Released Sales Order That Has Beeb Split

I have a sales order that has been split across 2 pick lists, 7 items on one and 3 items on another.

Both pick lists were printed at the same time, have the same SO number, but different Shipment and Load numbers.

All items were in stock at the time.

Can anyone explain why this orders has been split, rather than all be printed on 1 pick list.
