We have an issue whereby multiple shipments are being created for a single sales order.
We have checked that the addresses are identical/rec ids used are the same. The process is run on batch, off the back of multiple shipments being created. If they're cancelled and manually released again, they create 1 shipment just fine. It's hard to say if this is batch related, yet to replicate manual- but this is on a small test sample vs batch being the normal process
Not seeing any corelation between the data that does group into 1 shipment and the others that don't, it does not happen all of the time, but it's frequent.
We currently are not using any consolidation policies, maybe we should?
My advice is to create a shipment consolidation policy.
