Our organization is planning to use Microsoft Dynamic 365 version 8.2 on prem.
The servers are already created and CRM is installed. I have only access our organization instance through the browser.
We don’t have IFD configured and we don’t have certificate installed.
I was trying to configure email server synchronization with exchange (on prem). I have found that I need SSL certificate to configure server side synchronization.
I am worried that even after I get our admins to install SSL certificate in CRM that I will find another issue.
Is there any other pre-requisites that is required to use CRM server synchronization? For example do I need IFD ( the company policy force us to use VPN for remote user s and don’t allow exposing our CRM to the internet)? Is there any other component that needs to be installed?
Can someone provide a check list for CRM server synchronization?
