Passing powerpages user login details to copilot chatbot, without embedding chatbot as an iframe.

I have a copilot chat bot for a powerpages website.

The entended use is for logged in users to be able to log cases through the chatbot should their query not be answered by said bot. To do this, I want to get the ID of the logged in user.

I followed what I assume is the most up to date, best practice approach. I went to 'Add Copilot' in the make.powerpages 'set up' menu. Then I added my chatbot schema to the 'Bot Consumer' site component. Success, my chat bot is now displaying in my website.

My next step is to investigate passing through logged in user details to said bot, but all the sources I can find suggest embedding the chatbot using an iframe.

Is it possible to do this using the out of the box integration? Or do I need to embed my bot as an iframe to do this?
