Unable to post batch general journals

Hi,

Batch general journals posting failing after tax calculation service has been enabled. It doesn't allow to post multiple journals at the same time. Will there be any impact if I disable this feature and only enable when MTD submission is needed?

It comes up with the below error:

Posting results for journal batch number XXXXXX

Cannot create a record in TaxIntegrationDataRetrievalAddressCacheTable (TaxIntegrationDataRetrievalAddressCacheTable). The SQL database has issued an error.

    Hi Mohammad,

    What exact version of Dynamic 365 F&O are you using? General journals are supported as of version 10.0.26. If you are on this version or higher, you can create a ticket for Microsoft Support. In the meantime, you can post the journals via the client.

    Hi Andre,

    Thanks for responding, we are on 10.0.28 version. It does allow to post single journals but gets this error when posting multiple journals at the same time so wondering if tax calculation option can be disabled to allow them to post. As we use this functionality just to use multiple registration number functionality for mtd purpose.

    Hi Mohammad,

    I can't tell the impact for your environment as I'm not familiar with MTD. Anyway, you can try to test it in a separate environment.

    You can use LCS issue search to check for known issues or like mentioned above contact Microsoft Support.

    Hi,

    It's been logged with Microsoft and a fix has been published in the lcs for the next release available around Jan2023.

    The fix has been published in LCS-  issue 759876 (dynamics.com).
