Create Purchase order lines from work orders - Asset Management

Hi all, 

Do you know if there's any way to automatically create purchase order lines (items or services) from a work order?

Currently, I'm able to create a PO from the work order but I have to manually enter the items to be purchased, but I'm not sure if the lines can be automatically created based on the item forecast or the spare parts linked to the asset.

    Hi Enrique,

    Long time ago I looked for the same functionality but unfortunately I didn't find it. I think this would be a great idea for improvement.

    Purchase orders have to be created manually.

    I will suggest to open through a purchase requisition as usually maintenance workers should not create PO in my opinion and purchase agents should not navigate to work orders to create a related PO.

    If you still need an automation I will also suggest you to create it using Power Automate.

    Power automate was my first thought, or a small customization to generate the PO lines when creating the PO from the work order.

    Hi,
     
    to get this feature you need the AddOn AAM Advanced Asset Management from Dynaway.
    There shoud be 80 additional feature to the Asset Management in Microsoft.
