KB3030498 Line discount in sales order goes to zero when "Prices include sales tax" is checked

Posted on by 30

Hi all,

We suffer from the problem https://fix.lcs.dynamics.com/Issue/Details?kb=3030498&bugId=3647110&dbType=0&qc=1fea780cdf458516715fa415089c4dbecf8452e083709c1501aaa178d03ab5a8

"Line discount in sales order goes to zero when "Prices include sales tax" is checked".
You can download a package but not the individual KB, also in the package the KB is not mentioned as a model.
Because our version, AX21012R2 is not longer supported, we don't have the extended support, MS does not give the KB as a seperate model says our partner.
Anyone facing those problems also, and how do they manage that.

    Hi Chees,

A developer can extract the specific hotfix from the package.

That involves quite some work and testing and is not recommended by MS but that seems the only feasible way based on what you describe.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

Ofcourse we can implement the whole package, but than I need only those changes for KB3030498. Do not understand why it is impossible to get only the fix for KB3030498 !!

    Regards,

    Cees.

    Hi csteenbe2,

You should be able to implement this hotfix even if your version is no longer officially supported.

Can you have a developer taking a look at this fix and ask him/her to import it in a demo/test environment first where you can test it?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
