Deleting a Candidate Profile

Can a candidate delete and/or purge their own candidate profile?

Or can an admin do this?

Can't seem to find any details.

Hi Mike, to completely remove or anonymize a candidate's profile, please navigate to attract.talent.dynamics.com/personreport Once the action completes, please give it a few minutes before searching for the candidate again since it takes a little while for the system to reindex the records.

Hi,

with model-drive app you cannot modify forms and views for Attract and Onboard. You can use and advance search in the model driven organization (org12345.crm.4.dynamics.com) and look for the ID of the record. and then click delete.

but you need to know the ID of the record (not the database ID)

someone suggested a model-driven app - but as far as i can see you cannot edit the forms or views for the msdyn_candidate table. correct me if i'm wrong?

HI Mike,

a candidate cannot delete their profile, but an Admin can do that. The admin can go in Powerapps -> Data -> Entities -> Candidate (msdyn_candidate) and click on Data (or Edit Data in Excel). Then the data can be deleted.

an easier way would be to create a Model-Driven app, but it has some limitations.

the above instructions will delete the candidate, completely. You can delete only the candidate's application

Hello Mike,

Currently only the Administrator can do this.

If you actually want to delete the applicant, this should be done from the CDS.

If you would delete the applicant from the Job, his data will remain available in Talent (as per the warning message):
