Number Sequence deployment in D365 F&O via deployable package

Hi Everyone,


when delivering a deployable package to a client environment, what is the recommended way to ensure custom number sequences are available after deployment?

 
  • Should a runnable class be included and executed post-deployment to create the number sequences?

  • Or is there a better approach to automatically provision them in the target environment?

  • Also, is it supported/recommended to define the number sequence format fully in code (instead of configuring it via the UI)?

Looking for best practices used in real implementations (ISV or project delivery).
