Customisable Reports for Operational and Financial Metrics

Hi Everyone,

We have a deployment of D365 Finance and Operations and our finance department requires bespoke reports for their monthly reporting duties. The problem is we need to be able to combine data from GL and AR and Sales modules. Is this even possible?

I have thought about using the Excel Dynamics Add-in but how do I know what tables/fields to draw from? Can this even be done in Dynamics without development?

Excel Add-In is only for transaction processing. You need to consider Power BI for your requirements, which requires Data Lake configuration, soon to be superseded by Fabric. Also, have a look at Business Performance Analytics, which was recently released. It's in its infancy but might work for you.
