I'm using dynamic nav 2018 in german and when I send an invoice per e-mail to a customer the filename is "Vertrieb Rechnung ... .pdf".

For german customers this is fine, but when I send the invoice to a foreign customer, the filename should be in english. 

Where can I set the filename, so the filename is in the correct language?

    Currently standard is based on text constant , it will only follow language ID of the user (in User Personalization)  not the customer . If need to follow based on customer you need to write a function for that  and you can change it inside codeunit 260 "Document Mailing" inside GetAttachmentFilename function

    I'm not able to edit the codeunit due to my license.

    There is no other way , it's text constant in codeunit , you need to modify the codeunit or create a custom codeunit and subscribe to OnBeforeSendEmail Event in codeunit 260
