I am trying to use 2015 Dynamics Word Templates for POP Purchase Order Blank Form.
I have everything setup, but it seems to only be pulling the default template.
A few things here though, the template that it is pulling does not match the default one that I am using (Does not have the word 'Purchase Order' in big letters on the top right.
Also when I try to assign vendors or vendor classes to the template, it allows me to check them and save them. But when I go back in to check, there are no vendors or vendor classes checked.
I have imported the xml data from the original report, but as mentioned when I go to use the report it does not show. I am on Dynamics GP 2015 version 14.00.0661.
Thanks,
Mike

Ok, I think I found my problem. What happens is when you create the New Template, it sets up the Word Template with the mappings from the original or modified report from Report Writer. This includes not just the data fields, but the labels as well. What I was doing was changing the labels in Word to see how they looked when I printed out the PO. The problem is that these labels are still mapped to the labels on the original or modified report writer report. So when I go to print the PO it is using the Word Template that I changed, but it is pulling the mappings for the labels from the original Report Writer report so it looks like I didn't do anything. What you have to do is in Word, you right click on the label, you will see the option to "Remove Content Control". You select that option. You then can change the label. When you go to print the PO, the label is now using the label that I wanted to display, not the label from the original or modified report writer report. Hopefully this will get me going.
Thanks for all the help,
Mike
Sorry, I posted before seeing all the other responses and couldn't delete, so I edited instead.

Mike,
Have you assigned the template as Default for the company or to the vendor you are testing with?
Checking the Sy20030 table, it has 1010 rows in it.
The Template ID (10015) is the same for each entry.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, let me know if you would want me to send you anything else.
Do you think that Analytic Accounting is causing the issue?
Sorry about splitting the post up, but I can only upload to 64K.
Thanks,
Mike
It is still showing the default report, this is the top right of the Word Template.
It does not have the work Test Order.
