Hi All,

Can anyone helps to resolve this error while posting the output and consumption journal entries.

While creating the entries , there is no such errors and while post the below error pop ups "

The Item does not exist. Identification fields and value No= “ .

  1. Work center / Machine centers calendar  recalculated for all centers
  2. Dyn service restarted
  3. Compiled the page 99000832  “ Output journal “
  4. Complied the table  83 “ Item journal line “

Even after doing all the above steps still error continues.

thanks in advance

    Hi Dipin,

What I suspect is, there is a blank line without the Item No..

Please run the table and check is there any.

Additionally, you can run the debugger and check from where this error is getting initialized.

Please provide us more details, screenshots if possible to support.

    Hope it helps.

it means you've got a blank line somewhere (or a missing item number)

Check the item journal line table for a record with no item number in it. This could either be as an output, or as a consumption line.

Once you find the offending record, either delete the record, or put the correct item number into place.

I agree with the other members, most likely there is a line with a blank Item No. in it somewhere in your journal. Best is to open a table and check if it so - filter Item No. field by '' value or sort it to see if such fields exist.

Check if you have done any customization in your DB?  Is this error very frequent?

Arrange to debug the error. You should be able to find out the problem immediately.
