understanding what AXDB.FILE is

We have two sandboxes, one Gold and one Prod D365FO environments.
When we look at the disk consumption in Power Platform, our Gold environment has a 16GB AXDB.FILE file under "file usage"..all our other servers including sandbox and prod enviroments is only 2GB..
The only thing we do with our Gold environment is to take nightly backups of our prod database and then export the database to external backup reposititory
Can I assume the AXDB.FILE is perhaps storing some logs of the nightly backup action?
I have the same question (0)

Perhaps the daily database restore in the Gold sandbox has caused the database log file to grow. I assume that the log file is included in the disk space usage in Power Platform.
