Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived) Retained Earnings Category Not Set to 27

While browsing for some GP info I came across this as an overlooked problem in GP.  That GP expects RE to be category 27. So what’s the deal with this?  Must RE be a separate category and must be set to 27?
