David Meego - Click for blog homepage Today, I had a report that the latest build 25.1 release of GP Power Tools was causing an Unhandled Script Exception error when opening certain windows within Microsoft Dynamics GP.

I was able to replicate the issue and have released a 25.2 hotfix which resolves the problem.

The error was introduced in build 25.1 for all versions and will occur for windows tracked by the Window Position Memory feature. The dialog that opens will look like the following screenshot:

If you scroll down the rest of the message is:

The full error message is:

Unhandled script exception:
SCRIPTS – data area

EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_MISSING
SCRIPT_CMD_CALL

Installing the 25.2 hotfix over the top of your existing installation will resolve the issue. A temporary fix would be to disable Window Position Memory from the Options tab in the Administrator Settings window. The feature can be re-enabled as soon as the hotfix is installed.
