I have run into the following problem: I have installed a new instance of D365 CRM and have tried to set up connection with NAV 2017 db.
The problem is that instead to connect to the production instance (abc.crm4...), NAV has syncronized with the demo one (abc0.crm4...), despite in the CRM connection setup is indicated the prod instance link. I have tried the same setting in another company of the same NAV db - the same result, it somehow finds the link to the demo instance.
In the CRM Organization table I see the record referring to the CRM demo instance....
Does anybody knows how to resolve this issue and connect to the correct instance? Is it possible to reset the synchronization by clearing CRM tables in NAV or by another way?
Finally I have succeeded to resolve it.
It was enough just to change the synchronization user (indicated in the CRM connection Set up). The previous one was set as System administrator in both instances, and the new one - only in the production instance, and does not exist in the demo one.
Afterwards NAV data have synchronized with the correct instance (indicated in the Connection Set Up). And all data in CRM integration tables have adjusted automatically.
