Hello all! As you know or not, the Office365 authorization method is depreciated. My company uses it to integrate the Dynamics NAV 2017 with Dynamics 365 for Sales (CRM). Above depreciations make a huge issue – the integration stopped working.
Microsoft wrote that we should switch over to using OAuth. The problem is that auth type needs to register Application in Azure AD Services. We did that but still, we have the problem with the login. We’ve used even the connection string from MS site, AuthType=OAuth;Username=sume_user@some_domain; Password=passcode;Url=the_crm_addres;AppId=51f81489-12ee-4a9e-aaae-a2591f45987d; RedirectUri=app://58145B91-0C36-4500-8554-080854F2AC97;LoginPrompt=Auto but still the same problem – The service is unable to login to Microsoft CRM.
Do you have any idea how to connect Dynamics NAV to CRM over Oauth?
Please do have a look here:
We will soon update the blog posting with more information related to mitigations steps for Dynamics NAV 2017 OnPrem.
Also note that OAUTH is not yet supported in Dynamics NAV 2017. First release where we added support for OAUTH is Dynamics NAV 2018 CU41.
