I am facing following issue with MPOS Activation to see if anyone has idea about this:
logging in anonymously failed
FYI : Retail Server's webconfig already enabled for anonymous metadata

After a few tweaks, we have found the solution for this. First of all, your account needs to be domain account (one which has Application access) and also Retail Worker with proper POS Access needs to be associated with that domain / AD account.
For above access, go to Retail Module \ Worker and then associate worker with External ID (AD account)
Basically, DLL Host Config file (DLLhost.exe.config) was causing the issue due to cache. So, we decided to following:
- Kill the dllhost process from Task Manager
- Uninstall the MPOS, Delete the ClientBroker folder and its contents (Just to make sure no cache)
- Since it was DEV machine and having no business impact, we restarted the DEV VM machine
- Download the MPOS again (since we restarted the VM)
- Install and Activate the MPOS
And that's it. The activation was successful and we were able to login to MPOS.
