The following is a detailed process of integrating Dynamics 365 Dashboards with Power BI.
Login to CRM Instance. Select Settings > Administration > System settings.
Click on Reporting tab where you can enable the Set whether users can embed Power BI visuals radio button. Click OK.
Sign into Power BI application using CRM credentials.
Select Get data > Get button under Services.
You will be redirected to the Power BI apps. Search for Sales Analytics for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the Lookup box and select the same under All apps.
The Power BI AppSource window appears. Click Get it now button.
Select the installed Sales Analytics for Microsoft Dynamics 365 app. Click on Connect your data.
Enter the Instance Web API URL in D365_sales _URL field of Connect to Sales Analytics for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Popup window. Click Next button.
Select OAuth2 in Authentication method field. Click on Sign in button.
Select the CRM account and login with its credentials.
Fetching Instance Web API URL
Go to Settings > Customizations > Developer Resources.
Copy the Instance Web API URL as shown below.
You can view Dynamics CRM Dashboards in Power BI as shown below.
Note: You can view a variety of Dashboards available in Dynamics 365. Also, any changes made to Dashboard data in Power BI will reflect in Dynamics 365 as well.
