Have a weird edge-case i wanted to see if i could get some help with..
Is there a way i can prevent 1 CRM user's email replies from being turned into activities if others are also cc'd on the email chain?
Scenario i am trying to prevent is this.. There is a tracked conversation of 5 people, one of which is the CEO. CEO wants to hit reply on this thread, take everyone off but one user to have a private side-bar. Since this email thread was already tracked before he did that the private message lands on the lead activity feed for everyone to see.
Assume this cannot be resolved by training.. Can all emails from landing in the system for a specific user? I tried breaking the mailbox, changing settings but to no avail.
D365 online, server-side sync, Outlook App

Thanks for that. I have actually tried manipulating settings and even breaking the "CEO" mailbox in this example but the email was still tracked into the system via the recipients O365 account. At this point i am think i must recommend that anyone wanting to start a private conversation either FWD or open a completely new email thread. When an email is tracked via the Outlook App do you know where the tracking icon is stored? I assume it is in the email header somewhere. That won't be helpful for solving this use case but just curious. Thanks for the response.
When the email is racked, it will have the tracking token in the subject line. Within the email, if you click on the DYnamics 365 icon again to track email, if it is tracked then it will appear as already tracked.
