When looking at the old interface the Address 1 Composite block shows correctly, but when viewing it through an app, it is no longer a composite block and is broken out line by line - has anyone else experienced this and discovered a workaround?
This is by design. The address field is indeed split in UCI.
Unified Interface - which uses responsive web design principles to provide an optimal viewing and interaction experience for any screen size, device, or orientation.
So on the mobile side, it is not suitable to aggregate all address fields as in the classic UI. Because we input information through the touch screen on the mobile side, the split address fields are more suitable for the touch screen.
However, in the default Account form, the address field is in a separate section called "ADDRESS", as is the case in UCI. This section clearly distinguishes the address fields. As follows.
So I'd like to recommend that you modify the Account form to the same layout.
In the classic UI, open the form editor by clicking the FORM button in the command bar
Insert a section. Modify the name and label of the section to ADDRESS and check "Show the label of this section on the Form".
Then move the Address1 field to this section. Save and publish.
Composite fields are no longer composite in the UI, all fields will be split into individual fields. Composite fields were a good feature but with them not being able to be customised, it limited their usability and i guess Microsoft decided to remove them going forward.
Composite fields are not available in UCI app it's available the only web, please read the below articles, which will give information regarding other changes as well.
