I did configuration setting by selecting custom view and set view selector to NO on properties of existing lookup of quote line entity but still it is showing oob view only ..
Hi Kapil Singla,
Since we couldn't create custom lookup view, we have two way to do this:
1. Modify the OOB lookup view. When you add product in Quote Line, it used the Products in Parent Price List view by default. You could modify it as you need.
2. You could add a custom lookup view by JS.
Thanks for the answers
1) We can not add new filters to the by default view "Product in Parent price list"
2)I have not tried it but i heard its not possible on existing product lookup field present on order product/quote product/opp product.
When a price list is selected for the opportunity, the products listed in the Existing Product field are filtered by the price list. This means that only the product associated with the selected price list are shown in this field. In this case, the default view is set to Products in Parent Price List view. You can't set a custom view as the default view. Even if you do, the Products lookup will automatically set it back to Products in Parent Price List view.
1) This OOB view is editable. I add a filter like this:
So what's your mean of we can't add new filters to the view? Do not have permission or something else?
2) I tested it on my side. Yes, it couldn't change the default view as you say.
