Hi to All ....
I want to create Batch class and for that i want to create a item ..
it was set it to run for every 5 min ..
what i want to do for this to create item in batch class and how to set it for run every 5 min
Hi Kavin, I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to "create item for batch class", but if you are just trying to create a new Batch class in AX2009, you should extend the RunBaseBatch class in AX and implement the required methods.
Once you run the class you can setup recurrence as necessary
Here's an example:
Hi Jonathan .. i create batch class by following instructions given by you in link ... axaptapiyush.blogspot.com/.../creating-batch-class-in-dynamics-ax-2009.html ..
i want to create item for set it to run for every 5 min .. how can i do this .. can you given some details regarding about it
From the code editor, press F5 to run the class. You should be presented with a dialog. Check the batch job tick. Click the recurrence button and set your preferences. (ensure you select no end date)
It's so simple to set time.
In System Administrator > Inquiries > Batch Jobs > Batch Jobs
Click on Batch Jobs Form (Select your task)
and click on the Recurrence
In recurrence form set you time .
Hi Piyush Ojha .. i did like this only but in minutes it was not accept what ever numbers i given init .. it will automatically changing after i enter time limit in that particular field .. default itself 10 minutes once it running the class ....
and one more thing i want to create item for this .. what i want to do for that
Hi Jonathan like this only i following and now i getting the info log every 10 minutes once ..
but i if there i change the time it was not taking it and default 10 minutes will assign in that place after i enter the time limit in that place ,...
In Same class you created for batch also put your code for creating item.
Please post a screenshot of your recurrence settings.
