Quantity Adjustment button - I have looked at this and it appears to create a single count transaction with no Journal Id showing. But everything else looks the same. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of this method.
The pro is that you can adjust the quantity directly for a single item when using this method. It is not designed for cycle counting. Then you can use a counting journal.
When you have a list of adjustments you can also create a profit and loss journal.
So for individual handling this is handy, but if you have more adjustments a journal might be more useful.
Is it possible to have some sort of logging on the usage of this 'quantity adjustment' ? We check our counting journal to see who is changing our inventory. However, this feature has no logging so we do nobody allow it to use it.
1. Can we add logging to it ? e.a. that a journal is used?
2. Is there a setting to disable this button?
