an employee record has been deleted by other employee.
but as a admin, i didnt give him any admin rights to delete. only admin can delete the employee record that is also from backend(going to employee table)
how the user have deleted the employee record from employee details form.
in employee details form the delete option will be disabled for everyone.
this has been a big issue now..
can any one pls let me know is there any way to delete employee without going to backend..
You don't have to be admin to be able to delete data, you just need to have appropriate permissions. It's not clear whether you're aware of that and whether you reviewed permissions assigned to your users.
Also, even if users are not allowed to delete records from some tables, it can be done in code (it may be a feature or a bug in customization).
You should ask the employee who deleted the record how he did that.
Possibly you want to add database log to this table to track future changes e.g. deletion.
NB: Don't know of a function where one is able to delete a HR-record (except for the normal Alt-F9 possibility if user rights for this).
in the employee details form, the delete option has been disabled...so he should go to backend and delete which he cannot do as i didnt give him that rights... i cannot contact him about this...i wanted to find out how he did that...
What makes you sure that your security configurations do not allow the user to delete employee records?
