I am trying to look out for a time-sheet report that will give me the information that I see in this form:
I want it in a little better format - so that I don't have to click for every week and see what comes up in a child form(or subform at the bottom). I am looking for an inbuilt report ...
Nothing like that exists out of the box...
There are only some transaction reports where you can filter hour transactions based on e.g. project, date and employee. Like Fredrik said there is indeed no report out of the box. So you have to create a report with a customization then.
Yes. The transaction reports are based on the data in jmgJournalTrans. If you want data like this you might want to take a look at mining data from jmgJournalTable.
The time in standard fields is given in seconds though, so to make this work you need to get the calculated fields. The Excel add-in can do this, but only as centihours.
If you want controll of this your self you can divide by 86400 and change format to time (hh:mm)
Use Power pivot to create these aggregated fields and pivot away.
