I am trying to configure Microsoft Dynamics AX Connector for Mobile Applications, and have got all Windows App for expense, time etc working fine and able to post the entries from there :)
But when I am trying to connect "Dynamics AX" Windows Phone 8.1 app, it is showing following error"
"Sorry, something went wrong. You can't login. Please try again later.if you continue to receive this error, please contact \email id\ for support"
Note: email id in above error message is the one which I defined in Mobile Connector parameters.
I have installed the certificate on windows phone 8.1 already, any more configuration is to be done in windows phone to make it work?
Have you followed every single step as defined in the whitepaper Configure the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment for companion apps? What type of certificate did you use? It should be acquired from a public Certificate Authority. A wildcard certificate is not working. It should be a machine specific certificate for the ADFS server.
Also check the user settings in AX. Your default company should match the company where you are setup to e.g. write your timesheets.
For troubleshooting you can first try to use the Win8/10 apps. Then you can use e.g. Fiddler to monitor the network traffic and search for communication errors.

Yes, I have followed all steps from whitepaper "Configure the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment for companion apps" and as I said everything is working fine (authentication, transaction etc) from Windows app like Expenses and Time sheets from my desktop\local computer. And I have monitored the same using Fiddler, connection looks fine with no error.
I am using Self-Signed Certificate and it is machine specific.
The error I mentioned, is coming when I am trying to connect from "Dynamics AX" app from Windows Phone 8.1. I have installed the certificate in Windows Phone, not sure what other configuration required to make it work for Windows Phone 8.1. Any help is much appreciated on this.
The self-signed certificate is not supported by Microsoft. In the past I also managed to get it working using a self-signed certificate on the Win8/10 apps. But the mobile devices did not work.
