I have problem with inventory report as the quantity sold does not show the cost of the items sold.
For example: if we had 100 items and they are worth Usd 1,200 and we sold 60 . The inventory valuation report shows qty balance as 40 but closing cost Usd 1,200. Thus the sold 60 items their cost is not removed from inventory report . please help
Hi Moses N.
What report is that exactly?
It does not look like the inventory value report.
Can you share the path that you used to open it?
Many thanks and best regards,
Hi Ludwig , the report is from AX but it in form of
excel . I had tried to post it here but seems it not so clear.
The report path is ; General Ledger > reports> Detailed Inventory .
this report, not standard, I think, your team or partner customize it or may be related to localization area
so you need to check it with developer
Hello Moses N.,
This is not a standard AX report.
I would thus suggest that you get into contact with the developer who created it and explain him/her your issue in order to get it fixed.
P.S. If you make use of AX2009 RU5 or higher you can make use of the standard inventory value report, which seems to me more powerful, i.e. include more information, than the Excel list that you posted above. Maybe take a look at this standard report in addition.
