Which AX table of the database holds details of opening balance and closing balance?
I don't have access to AX2009 anymore, but I thought the table names were: LedgerBalances and LedgerBalancesDim which contains aggregated information per account, per date. The second table also per financial dimension. I listed these tables also in one of your other questions. or the opening and closing balance, the period code (or another field) has a reference to the ledger period which is able to tell if the balance belongs to a normal transaction, opening or closing balance. Did you already have a look at the tables and if these table names are the correct ones for you?

Thanks for your reply.
I do have table name as LEDGERBALANCESTRANS and LEDGERBALANCESDIMTRANS.
I am trying to make a SQL query for Trial balance . Form which table I should get the credit and Debit amount for opening balance ?
It depends if you need dimension values as well. If not, you can pick the first table. The table with DIM in the name is having additional information per financial dimension.
Just FYI, I changed the title from "Dynamics AX 2009" to "Table holding opening balance and closing balances".
