No, I mean operating system version = Windows version.

Based on your AX build number you have Dynamics AX 2009 RTM version: cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../
If you look at AX 2009 system requirements, you will notice that: "Windows Server 2012 R2, Standard Edition or Datacenter Edition is supported with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 with Rollup 8 and the hotfix from Knowledge Base article 3209897. "
This could explain your issue. I have seen Excel issues when AX 2009 client was run on a newer Windows version than it supported.
Are you really using AX 2009 RTM version in a live system? You should definetely update to the latest available version.
