I want to start working with AIF(Application Integration Framework). So the question is can i start it on my own local pc VM. What will be requirement if i want to do so.
Do you have AX 2012 installed on your local machine? If so, you can use AIF there.
Could you please tell us what exactly you're trying to do (e.g. export data through the file system adapter, calling SOAP services or so) and what kind of problem you have with it?
Thanks Martin Dráb for your reply,
I want to integrate third party application, let say SharePoint or any web application. That's i need so. Ax is installed on my laptop VM.
"To integrate" can mean almost anything - you'll need to think much harder about what you actually want before you can decide what you'll need for it. It includes the possibility that you don't need to develop anything (e.g. you'll use Enterprise Portal) or that you'll use something else than AIF.
I want to exchange information with SharePoint, so for that i need enterprse portal you mean to say to installed on my system as well.
No, it's impossible to say whether Enterprise Portal covers your requirements before identifying what the requirements are.
