Can’t Find “Job Queue Entry Approval Workflow” in Business Central?

Here’s the Fix!

If you're working with Dynamics 365 Business Central and trying to use the Job Queue Entry Approval Workflow, you might notice that the template is missing, even though the feature is documented.


Why is the Workflow Template Missing?

There are a couple of reasons why you might not see the template:
  • The workflow template was introduced in a later version/update
  • Microsoft templates may not be loaded in your environment
  • The environment was upgraded but templates were not refreshed

Quick Solution

Search Workflows Templates
Select Actions. Click Reset Microsoft Templates


This will reload all standard workflow templates, including Job Queue Entry Approval Workflow



Alternative Approach

If the template is still not available:
  • Export the workflow from a newer environment
  • Import it into your current environment
