Running out of Dynamics NAV Licenses? Using Sessions to See Who’s Connected

Recently I had a client contact me wondering if they were running out of licenses.  They wanted to know exactly who was connected to Dynamics NAV so that they could verify.

You can use a functionality within Microsoft Dynamics NAV called “Sessions” to figure out who is connected to NAV in just two steps.

Step 1:

Select your Server and then your database.

On the application menu (Blue Button) Click “Select Server”, Choose your Server and then your Company:

Step 2:

When you have your company selected, click on the search field (or tap Ctrl + F3), type “Sessions” and hit enter:

Click on sessions and the screen below will show up:

In this view, you can see who is connected to NAV!
