Microsoft Dynamics GP Upgrade 2025 - Table, Column and Parameter Changes

Terry R Heley Profile Picture Terry R Heley Microsoft Employee

Below are the Table, Column and Parameter changes that we are aware of at this point in time for Microsoft Dynamics GP October 2025 release.
Please note that this blog is a work in progress and is not all-inclusive meaning as more content becomes available, we will be updating this blog.

New Tables in SYSTEM DB:

FA03600 - FA_Luxury_Depreciation - Stores and saves Luxury Depreciation limits by year.

This allows users the flexibility to edit existing limits and add new limits for each year.

This table stores each year along with depreciation values.

When you upgrade to 18.8 values will be populated for years 2018-2024.  When you install the year end update (code release in November 2025 as example) if a year doesn’t exist in the table, the year would be created, and the amounts would be added. Example: year-end update November 2025, would see that year 2025 doesn’t exist so it will be added.

New Table in Company DB:

NONE

New columns added to existing tables (SYSTEM DB):

NONE

New columns added to existing tables (COMPANY DB):

NONE

Microsoft Dynamics GP SDK

There has not been an updated SDK (Software Development Kit) at this time, hence you only see GP 2015 SDK when you install it.  There are no plans for this to be updated in the future.

Common parameter changes that we have seen for GP will be documented in this document, updated regularly.

You can also use GP Power Tools as part of the free version you can look up parameter changes.

Please continue to monitor our Microsoft Dynamics GP 2025 Upgrade Blog Series Schedule to learn more about this Microsoft Dynamics GP Upgrades.
