Post#45: New Lead Error

In D365 Finance and Operations when you create new leads in the “Sales and Marketing>Relationships>Leads>All Leads” you may face the below error message:

Parameter setup of either language, currency, or type not specified. This is required to create a new prospect.

To solve this issue you must setup the “Sales and Marketing>Setup>Sales and marketing parameters” setup.

In particular you need to fill in the below 3 fields.

1. Language
2. Currency
3. Type

Adding these settings will remove that error message and allow you to save a lead.
