You know it.... my favorite time of the year..... all things pumpkin and spice are out, the leaves are turning, and of course it is Dynamics GP Release time!

I'm pleased to introduce the features for Microsoft Dynamics GP October 2022 release (18.5.1556). All of these features are what YOU the customer has requested, VOTE for more now!

Let's get started to prepare for the next release of Microsoft Dynamics GP by reviewing the detail of each feature below.

New registration keys will not be required for this release
The 2022 Canada and US Year-End updates will include this 18.5 release.

    I followed the "VOTE for more now" link to the ideas portal and was disappointed to find a lot of ideas with many votes marked Declined. That's not cool. Especially disappointing were all the requests declined that were simply asking for eConnect to be updated to match table schema changes. Why should users take time to submit and vote if you'll just go in and decline ideas regardless of the vote? I think there is a purpose for a "Decline" status -- when an idea is really off base. But it's been abused here to shut down useful requests.

    That is correct, they were removed from the DVD in March as I noted on this blog, we also noted this in our upgrade blog series that is running now, so customers are aware as they work their upgrade path. If you just patch an existing install with an MSP, we will continue to patch the existing code / install they have of that product. community.dynamics.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-gp-march-2022-hotfix-now-available
