Where can I find documentation and other resources for Microsoft Dynamics GP in general?

• Have you heard about Microsoft Dynamics GP Directory?  The Microsoft Dynamics GP Directory is a one-stop shop for what you are looking for around Microsoft Dynamics GP.  It provides a consolidated view of relevant documentation, videos, solutions to known issues, new features, blog links, installation guides, Hot Topics, community sites, and much, much more....  Be sure to check it out!

• For any general questions, you can also utilize the Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner Community Forum to ask your peers for tips.

**NOTE - if you do not have Human Resource installed**

If you installed the 2017 year-end update and create the year end wage file without having Human Resource installed, you will receive the following error messages for each employee during creation of the payroll year-end file:

An error occurred executing the SQL Statements
GPS Error: 56
SQL Error 208 Invalid object name 'BE020230'

This is due to your environment not having Human Resource installed.
To quickly get around this issue, run the following script (CreateBE020230.sql) to create the table that is missing (this script works for all versions)
You could also install Human Resources if the customer may want to use this in the future.
This is corrected in the January Hotfix.

I hope the information above will help you to have a smooth and successful year end!
