I have added Dynamics Business Central connection to my PowerApps environment(365 trail) but i do not see its entities listed in the Data->Entities page only the CRM entities(Account, Contact, Work Order, Work Order Product etc).
How do I get the BC entities and if so then how do I use this in my connection set under the admin PowerApps? Awaiting a reply soon!
PowerApps uses ODATA for connecting to BC. To expose your entities, go to web service page and publish a BC entity as OData web service. Then from PowerApps you can connect to this url.
You need to go to the powerapps and create either a form or gallery and add your data sources. But, I have a doubt regarding a Page extension that we have created in the Business Central, its not visible in the data source in Powerapps. We have added the Page in the Web Services in Business Central.
I'm having the same issue. When I looked at the connector before I could see all of the Web Services that I had published. Now I see a list of Tables, some of which don't appear in the Web Services page. Has anyone else come across this?
The new Business Central PowerApps connector is based on the API and no longer on the Webservices.
So you need to extend those if you need additional info.
More info about the API can be found at:
I have followed the instructions of the API setup page, but my API still does not show on Connections list. I have installed the extension both to sandbox and test environments, tried to publish the OData web services, added the API setup with templates, but to no avail.
Got any further ideas?
