Installing the CRM 2013 Outlook client (CRM online) works up to the point where I restart Outlook. At that point, Outlook is just pointing that there is a severe failure and terminates to start.
I de-installed and re-installed several times - is this problem known?

This looks like outlook crash when you have CRM Add-in enabled. Did you updated CRM for outlook with latest UR ?
Hi Nadeem, I am using the download coming directly from MS. Don't know where to find anything more current?!
Did we check if the CRM 2013 outlook client for outlook is on the latest update rollup.
What is the error message or event logs getting generated in the event viewer at the time of failure.
I am working on CRM online, so I would assume that the latest roll up update has been installed. My version of Outlook is 2013 professional. Once I have installed the CRM client, outlook is not starting any more, so there is no specific error message, it is just saying that the application cannot start.
