I have imported the organization and all customizations.
created a new User in AD
added new User to CRM.
Provided SystemAdmin Access in CRM
Added User to SQL Reporting Group
but when i try to run a report i get the error which is attached in the image.
If the report worked for other users, check the SSRS logs in the SQL server directory.
This will give you more info.
You might be seing those errors because of below mentioned details. Can you try as mentioned and see if this gets fixed for you.
This problem occurs because the custom data processing extension that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 uses is registered incorrectly on the SSRS server. This behavior may occur if the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data Connector for SSRS has been uninstalled or if the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data Connector for SSRS is configured incorrectly.
If you install the following Critical Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data Connector for SSRS will be removed:
The data string is not changed after you install Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data Connector for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
To resolve this problem, repair or reinstall the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data Connector for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
Manually change the connection string and the data sources that must be changed. To do this, follow these steps:
Open Reports Manager.
Select the CRM Organization.
Click Show Details.
Click the v4 folder.
Click the CRM Data Source.
When you are using Windows Authentication, the connection string will resemble the following:
Data Source=server;Initial Catalog=ORG_MSCRM;Integrated Security=SSPI
With Windows integrated authentication radio selected.
When you use Microsoft CRM Data Extension, the connection string resembles the following:
MSCRM Data Connector Connection String
With Credentials Supplied by the user running the Report.
Please check the below link and follow the steps. It will help you.
The SSRS Services is running?
I added the user to SystemAdministrator Role in SSRS.
it still didnt work
then i started the IE as Run As Administrator and it started working.
there is still another issue.
After Running the Report iam seeing "No Data" in all the reports.
any idea why iam getting "No Data" ?
I am having the same issue when running a report. I am using Microsoft CRM online. I did as Prabhakar Vijendar suggested and it works. I temporarily had to give a user admin rights. When I downloaded the report and ran it through Sql server business intelligence development studio locally the report runs fine.
