i was searching for alternate ways to integrate CRM 2013 with social media like Facebook and twitter without any third party tool, but didn't get any thing.
if you guys can suggest anything. so please do
See the sdk's of Facebook and twitter. For example one for facebook : http://facebooksdk.net/
can you provide me any article related this to integrate Facebook with CRM using SDK development ?
As it is more of a add-on companies sell on top of CRM, I am afraid that you might not find many samples.
Yes, it is an issue i am unable to find any example related this yet.
if you find any please let me know.
Maybe this can help you.
If you want to build, the concept is you need to integrate the Facebook + Twitter API, twitter for example can use Twitterizer library
Then if you are using new CRM 2013 with Social Entities, then you can use that entity.
You can try to run the social care app provided by Microsoft.
If not then you can use standard entities, such as Case and create new custom entity to store your tweet.
If you want the ready solution the webfortis Parrot is the best for me.
Thanks alot Aileen....
i didnt followed the steps defined in link yet.
but i got a link from one of your comments there, where i was stacked from almost 2 hours.
this one --> missdynamicscrm.blogspot.com/.../social-care-application-crm-2013-sign-in-with-Twitter-error.html
i follow the given link as well.
in the above given link there is service management option.
i'm using on-premises so i can't perform this step.
"Go to Settings –> Service Management –> Queue"
as it is not released on-premises yet.
so can you please guide me for an alternative ?
You are using CRM 2013 non SP1 or non update springwave 14?
Hm..So you will not have the Social Entities, what you can do is not using the Social to Case automation, but using directly to Case or using custom entity.
You will need the link about Twitter + Fabeook API only Shahzeb.
Can i get any tutorial or article related to it ?
I'm using CRM 2013 Non SP1
The link I provided:
has mentioned about Facebook + Twitter API.
The rest is to integrate with CRM using SDK, as usual, using CRUD to Case.
