So, this is a real odd one. My colleagues use an online marketing tool (CampaignMaster) to create formatted emails which can literally be copied and pasted into a new email template. Once this is saved we have been able to use this in quick campaigns etc. However, all of a sudden (and seemingly when these include a picture file in the content) when we select "Insert Template" we just get "undefined" appearing in the body of the email.
Result when trying to use this via the "Insert Template";
So this has us at a loss. Please note we are on RU18 (CRM 2011) and have been since the beginning of the year, but this issue has only just arisen. Someone has suggest a server reboot or applying any server updates available but this feels more like an application issue. We have also tested this on both IE9 and IE11 with the same result.
Really would appreciate some guidance with this. Many thanks.
Sorry, it hasn't copied in the pictures. Here they are attached.
And the error here:
I would suggest to create a new email template from CRM and add a picture in body to check if this is an issue with marketing tool or templates.
We did this, creating a new instance of both the online tool and CRM template and it worked. Still unsure of the why, but glad its sorted. thanks for the suggestion.
