I have CRM 2011 on premise that reads currency information thru GP connector. In connector, the exchange rate is set to a constant of 1.
I need to sum estimated values at the opportunity entity for opportunities with different currency. I am not able to do this, because the base field amount is the same as the origin amount.
Any recommendation on how to solve this?
Do you have the exchange rates stored in GP as well? I'd update the Connector to pull the Exchange Rates instead of pushing over a constant of 1.
Alternately, turn off the exchange rate connector line entirely and load exchange rates through a spreadsheet into CRM. I'd only consider this a stopgap until you got the Connector mapping rates properly, but a quick one if you need to sort this now while you work on a long-term fix.
Thanks Wayne for you reply.
The exchange rate info is for sure stored in GP but the connector for some reason doesn't pull this info. I cant pull this info from the connector because simply when I tried to map the CRM exchange field I do not find the GP exchange rate through the available fields.
As for turning off the exchange rate connector line entirely ,the map in the connector is not for exchange rate ,it is for the currencies as a whole. But turning this map off is definitely an option.
