When I create a new contact in CRM and then submit to NAV, it will create an Integration Key which is a combination from lastname and a Number.
When I create a new contact in NAV, the contact gets a Contact-No. like 500123.
In the end, we will have contacts with different range of numbers.
Is it possible, that when the connector creates the contact from CRM in NAV, the contact gets the number from NAV?
Thanks in advance
1. You can create a same autonumbering solution in CRM and disable it in NAV and make CRM as the only source of creation of leads.
2. Other approaches are to expose a webservice from nav and consume that in oncreate plugin on Contact. I tried this approach, but this hampers the form load and also it makes crm contact creation dependent on NAV.
We have implemented 1st approach in many projects and its working great.
Both solutions arent an approach for the actual project. Anyway, thank you for your answer.
