Our CRM (CRM 2011) is set up with the Base Currency as GBP.
Our US users have their Default Currency set to USD. When they view their Opportunities as charts they see all the values in USD. However when they run a Report the summaries are in GBP, i.e. the Base Currency for the CRM and not their Default Currency.
How can the report summaries be in currencies other than the Base Currency of GBP?
It is probably obvious but I cannot find out how.
Is it standard report?
It is a report I have written using the Report Wizard in the CRM 2011 "My Work" part of the Workplace.
What fields have you chosen for a report? Usual currency field fields like amount or _base fields like amount_base?
I tied both, the usual field and its base equivalent. Even with my default currency set to Euro both summaries are in GBP
This is how reports built using Report Wizard work. If you want report behave other way you will have to redesign it using visual studio.
This problem continues even in later versions. Not sure how the wizard can even accomplish this summarization in a different currency in the report where all the details are in the expected currency! Makes end user reporting pretty much useless. Anybody figured out a workaround?
